Senator Ted Kennedy battled a malignant brain tumor

The late Senator Ted Kennedy who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in May 2008, survived longer than doctors had predicted. Senator Kennedy died at his home on August 25, 2009, in Hyannis Port Massachusetts.
